Jeff Pirtle - "Chef Jeff"

Jeff Pirtle founded MyDietChef.com when he realized there was a need for his two passions in life to come together - creating great tasting recipes, and helping people with their dietary needs. Jeff grew up in Seattle, and graduated from culinary school in 1990. He spent much of his career after graduation as a Chef and Food Service Director for various healthcare organizations, where he developed new menus for patients with special diet needs. Bit by the traveling bug, Chef Jeff took swimming lessons, and got a job as a Super Yacht Chef. He traveled the world for over five years, cooking food at highest level for billionaires and celebrities alike, but came away with the understanding that people just like good tasting food. Back on land, Jeff opened a restaurant, and cooked for many private clients in the Charlotte area. Currently he is a freelance Chef, and spends most of his time developing recipes for this site. In his spare time he loves to try new restaurants, come up with new recipe ideas, and exercise - so he can still cheat once and awhile (everything in moderation)!
